Brain fog, confusion. That scrambled feeling, when your brain is going in five directions all at once. Doubt, turmoil, fear.
Fear, fear. Nothing makes sense.
Depression, from minor to crushing. Trapped.
There are degrees of brain fog, sometimes it's a slight haze, sometimes you can't remember what you were even looking for. Sometimes you feel so confused it's like ping pong -- doubles-- in your head. You can't even take a step forward. (One step forward, two steps back.)
Is it genetics? stress? hormonal imbalance? poor diet? not enough sleep? city living? ye good olde trauma?
The title comes from experience and time: no one is born with this condition.
This series will touch solely on the non-clinical manifestations of brain fog.
